Our dad is really happy to be home, but he is still very weak. He has lost a lot of weight and needs to gain his strength back, which will be a lot of hard work. We are all trying to encourage him as much as possible and his caretakers are absolutely wonderful, but we understand that it can be a frustrating process for him. It requires a lot of patience on his part as well as on our part. Today he was really excited to have Ava come visit him. She brought him a lot of happiness and that encourages him even more to get better as soon as possible.
