Sunday, September 14th

Unfortunately, the situation hasn't changed very much since he got home from the hospital. He got the feeding tube put in and has been home getting consistent feeding through that tube. It could be quite some time before we see any significant improvements. There will likely be sustained periods of time without any changes. So, while I understand that everyone wants continuous updates and information, the truth is that there isn't really anything happening at the moment. He is fortunate to have wonderful caregivers helping him through this challenging journey. It is very difficult for all of us to watch him go through this and we are hoping to have better news in the future for you. But, for now, please understand that my updates will most likely be less frequent because the progress is going to be very very slow, so daily updates simply do not make sense. I promise that I will provide updates as soon as anything changes, but for now we are pretty much at a plateau. As always, we really appreciate all of your thoughts and support for our family throughout this process, especially for our mom. We are incredibly grateful.
