Monday, September 8th
Mentally, our dad is getting better each day. However, despite our best efforts to encourage our dad to eat, he still hasn't regained his appetite. The doctors have grown increasingly concerned because he has lost a lot of weight and they want to make sure he gets all the nutrients he needs. They have decided to give him a feeding tube and he is undergoing surgery today to get the tube in place. We hope that with the feeding tube, he will be able to regain weight more steadily and obtain all the nutrients his body needs to get stronger.

Amanda Libby, and Jessica and Laura, I heard about Marvin and the blog. Words cannot express how sorry I am for him and your family. The blog is a great idea. We will pray for him tonight and please give him a big hug for me. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteI know a few ppl who lost so much weight and the only thing that helped them was – Marijuana in it's natural form or in oil. . I would chk that out...
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't need to start smoking marijuana. That is a bad idea. The side effects on his lungs and health far out weigh any benefits.
